Winter’s Transition to Spring…

The great pulsation of nature beats too in my breast, and when I carol aloud, I am answered by a thousand-fold echo. I hear a thousand nightingales. Spring hath sent them to awaken Earth from her morning slumber, and Earth trembles with ecstasy, her flowers are hymns, which she sings in inspiration to the sun… – Heinrich Heine

It might’ve escaped your attention but today marked a very special annual event. Well, for me at least: Today was the first day where I got to sit on my balcony lounge chair and read a book. Without a coat. Because the weather was so fucking great. Maybe I’m a nerd but this makes me thoroughly happy.

Last year I decided I wanted to spend more time in nature. My grandad even got me a colour-indexed pocketbook to identify plants. We can pretty much scratch out the “maybe” part. I’ll admit it: I’m a big flower-power hippie nerd.

Nature Photography: Documenting the Seasons

As a reflection of this I’m also doing more nature photography. Thought I’d share some pics with you guys! I’ve recently bought a second hand Kiron 28MM lens. This lens gives me a lot more options for photographing landscapes etc than my Pentax 50MM lens. Enjoy the pics & enjoy the coming of Spring <3

Have an awesome & inspiring week <3
